Against the Grain…
Everyone who knows me knows that I like to march to the beat of my own dram. Well… Actually… DANCE to the beat of my own drum! *prances his way through life* Ever since I was a child, I was always doing things differently and expressing myself unlike everyone else. I always felt like I didn’t fit the mould and was often causing trouble than just ‘going with the flow’. Finding my place in Lithuania was almost impossible because if you’re not ‘normal’, then you don’t belong here.
Luckily, after graduating from school, I had the opportunity to move abroad and discover my true potential. The first few years were quite bumpy but after a while, I shaped my personality and became the person that I am today.
A couple of weeks ago, I visited Thomas Sabo flagship store in Mayfair to pick up two men’s bracelets that perfectly match my personality and compliment my current style. I’ve been very impressed with their designs and an extensive selection of bracelet.
For those of you who are not familiar with Thomas Sabo, this men’s jewellery brand is known for their sterling silver men’s bracelets and bangles, which are the perfect must-have accessories to complete both smart and casual outfits.
So, without further ado, here are my top two picks:
MAORI SKULL: This bracelet is a symbol of power and strength. Skull Bead is decorated with patterns inspired by the legendary Maori tattoos. The handcrafted details of the centre bead create an artistic surface structure. It gives the iconic bracelet made of matt, oval beads its special feature. I’ve been wearing this one almost every day since I got it because I feel like it guards me against trouble. *rebels without a cause* Also, I’m a huge fan or large accessories because they make me feel so empowered. So, it’s a must-have accessory for those who look to wear darker tones and bold textures. Think leather jackets, heavy boots and ripped jeans! *already plans his style for autumn*
LITTLE SECRET ANCHOR: This hand-knotted, colourful textile bracelet is ideal for versatile combinable styles. I often wear it with my matt black watch or a chunkier bracelet. *checks out the pictures* Just like the Maori bracelet, it’s also a symbol of power and strength. All thanks to the anchor pendant. Therefore, this little anchor bracelet is perfect for those who are looking for a lightweight hand accessory.
