Colours That Match Your Vibe…
We live in an age where everything is ready at our fingertips. From browsing the internet, double-tapping on Instagram to answering emails and booking your favourite holidays. Mobile devices have become a huge part of our daily lives. However, I’m still one of those people who enjoys working on a laptop because nothing beats that passionate tapping on the keyboard and streaming my favourite Netflix series on a 15-inch screen. *insert the nail polish emoji here*
Last week, I had the opportunity to meet guys at ASUS and snag their latest ASUS VivoBook S15 laptop. With the four-sided frameless Nano Edge display and powerful Intel Core CPU, this laptop is made for millennials like me. As someone who edits his content on the go and does those daily admin bits, VivoBook S15 delivers speed and all-day battery life throughout the day. *yaaas* Therefore, I’ll no longer be desperately seeking for those power sockets in a café!
It comes in five colours: Icicle Gold, Firmament Green, Star Grey, Silver Blue and Gun Metal. Joe and I opt in for a Firmament Green because it really matches our edgy personalities. *self-proclaimed hipster here* I personally see this laptop as part of an accessory… So, who really needs a newspaper when you have a stylish computer? *wink*
During our visit at Shoreditch Treehouse, ASUS treated us to a two-course lunch, followed by a photoshoot with our new laptops. Honestly, I’d love to spend my life in that quirky little bedroom!
So, without further distraction, here’s the official ASUS VivoBook promo:
What do you think of ASUS VivoBook S15? Do you consider buying one? Let me know in the comments section below.
For any young professional, productivity and time management can be a tough thing to tackle. With latest innovations and advancements in tech, our minds are being constantly bombarded with information. So, it doesn’t take much to get distracted from your daily tasks. Instagram, WhatsApp and other platforms offer a quick ride down the rabbit hole. *spends days writing this blog post, oops* Whilst very few of us can really nail their time management skills, I thought I’d give you guys some tips on how to be more productive for the week ahead. Are you ready? *say yes*
Here are my 5 ways of increasing productivity and time efficiency:
Catch some sleep – first and foremost, establish a healthy sleep routine. Habits such as eating, sleeping and waking up at the same time each day signal the body when it’s time to work, play and rest. So, with my busy lifestyle, I have to keep these 3 things consistent in order to make my day as productive and efficient as possible.
Set daily goals – prioritise your tasks according to time commitment and priority level. I usually have my tasks written on my notepad. Also, I use Momentum for Chrome to set that one main task I have to achieve on the day.
Take breaks – sitting at the desk for a long period of time is not good for your body. Therefore, I often leave my desk and go make myself some tea or have a little gossip sesh with my colleagues in the kitchen. *sorry not sorry*
Shut down distractions – my phone is the biggest productivity drainer of all time! Quite often, I check my Instagram and WhatsApp every five-to-ten minutes which is really really bad. *cries* So, when it’s time to work, I turn my “Do Not Disturb” feature on and check my phone once I achieve at least one of my daily tasks. Also, I set my Kronaby watch to only notify me when there’s an important email coming in or when a close friend calls/texts me.
Make minor daily decisions – a thousand tiny decisions add up to your day to day life. So, jump on your day ahead by taking care of simple tasks first. I always plan my outfits the evening before and prepare my weekly lunches in advance.
Introducing… The Next Generation of Connected Watches!
Back in July, I introduced you to Kronaby Sweden connected watches. These watches proved to increase my productivity, whilst making me look at least a hundred times more stylish. *style icon over here, whoop whoop* I use Kronaby watch to monitor my daily steps and have my email notifications set as a top priority because you never know what opportunity comes my way at the very last minute! *patiently waits*
Since I’m the #1 fan of Kronaby, they reached out to me asking if I would like to be one of the first influencers to try their next generation of watches. Obviously, I said yasss! *d’oh* With the new and improved sunray brushed sterling silver-plated dial and the solid rose gold frame, this new Kronaby watch is already making waves in the watchmaking industry. The new Sekel range is a major step up from its predecessors as it feels much more firm and precise. This might be the perfect gift for your modern dad or even yourself. #TreatYoSelf
As an avid location scout, I enjoy trying new things and experiencing unfamiliar places. So, the “Remember this spot” feature on my Kronaby watch makes my life a better place because I can save my current location by pressing the GeoTag button on my watch. It comes in extremely handy when I’m cycling about and see something worth coming back to. *content game strong*
Do you own a Kronaby connected watch? What is your favourite feature?
Stranger Things. Quite possibly the most hyped show of the streaming age. Last year, I binged my way through the first series in just 72 hours. *blimey* Insane? Yes. Regretful? Not at all!
I have been counting days until I get to watch season 2 and that day has finally come. Eleven, Mike Wheeler and his ghostbuster-like squad are back and ready to fight the creatures from the Upside Down. *cancels plans for the weekend*
We have so many questions left unanswered. I’m hoping to find out how Mike is connected with the Upside Down and whether Eleven will be reunited with the crew. Ahhh, I just can’t wait! *quickly downloads the whole show on his phone*
The Binge Club
This month, Three UK are launching the ‘Binge Club‘. It’s an online community that brings bingers together to discuss their favourite shows live. What makes Three stand out from the rest is that they allow their customers to stream content on their smartphones without using up their data allowance. You can stream music, series and TV at no extra cost. *jaw drops* So, they launched Binge Club to celebrate this life-saving feature and encourage people to consume more content on the go.
The first ever episode of Binge Club is based on the new season of “Stranger Things”. Pssst, the show is now available to stream on Netflix. *yasss* I’m super stoked to take part in this because I struggle to keep my fingers away from some serious spoiler alerts. *sorry not sorry*
The Binge Club host has just made the first announcement. Therefore, you can take part in the challenge here. The first task is to watch the first half of “Stranger Things 2” within the first 72 hours. Can you manage? I mean, really, CAN YOU MANAGE?! Once you have completed your first task, the host will then go live on Facebook to discuss the first half of the show with everyone. There’s a chance for you to share your knowledge and predict future events with other fans of the show.
So… Who’s binge-watching “Stranger Things 2” this weekend? Will you join the Binge Club?
Check out the new and final “Stranger Things 2” trailer below. Let’s go back to the Upside Down!
Thanks to Three UK for sponsoring this post. However, all views are my own. #GoBinge
It’s hard to imagine my everyday life without a watch wrapped around my wrist. It is now part of my instinctive checklist before I leave the flat: phone, wallet, keys, watch! *slowly closing the front door, whilst anxiously checking every single pocket*
Officially launched in 1977, Timex is celebrating 40 years of its landmark Easy Reader® watches with a special limited edition series. *wowzers* They have dressed up the Easy Reader with a rich Horween® leather strap, in four classic and current trend-inspired styles. In this shoot, I’m wearing Easy Reader in gunmetal, brown and black tones. *Pssst, click here for the product details*
The 40th anniversary is noted on the case back, strap lining and a special hidden message which can only be seen when the INDIGLO® night-light is activated. I was always a fan of watches that lit up at night. Therefore, this is just like a cherry on top of the cake.
During the Timex event, I had the opportunity to have my initials engraved on the leather strap. So, this one might be my new favourite watch!
Once in a while, I like to leave all of my worries behind and enjoy a cheeky weekend away with my friends. Last weekend, Victoria (@philorose), Ollie (@ByOllieB) and I have decided to head up to the Forest of Dean. We opted for some wine tasting, long walks in the forest and autumn inspired content producing!
In the next week or so, I will be sharing some stories from our little countryside trip. So, make sure you keep an eye on my blog. *wink*
Let’s face it, going out is quite expensive! *rolls eyes*. Long gone are the days when a pint of beer used to cost less than a fiver and you could treat your squad with a round of drinks without breaking a bank. Times have changed but are we going to stay at home and do nothing? Most definitely not!
Luckily, the guys at Drinki are here to change the way we experience nightlife forever. Their intention is to make people go out more and to do so, they offer the first round on the house. *shook* Yes, that’s right, I’m talking about free drinks at hundreds of bars in London. From Espresso Martini at Grind to Mirrorball cocktail at Simmons, there are plenty of drinks to choose from.
After your first round, Drinki has exclusive drink offers available all night. You can collect ‘drinkis’ by sharing your referral code with your friends. It’s that simple. Once the happy hour kicks in, I round up my squad and get going! *puts on Diana Ross on shuffle* So, what are your plans this evening?
Last week, Drinki invited me to their summer party. *puts on his drinking hat* They teamed up with Emerald Street to throw a huge party with big tunes, exciting games and insanely strong (free) Margaritas. The party took place at The Brewhouse in East London.
I had the opportunity to meet the CEO of Drinki, Tariq Aris, who was shooting tequila shots from a toy gun into our mouths, all night. It was pretty insane! *tequila overdose* The atmosphere was very chilled, so my time there went by very quickly. I managed to make new friends, get a little bit tipsy and save a lot of money. Therefore, it’s a win win situation. Thanks Drinki! x
