Berlin, the greatest cultural extravaganza that one could imagine!

It’s been more than a week since I got back but I’m still buzzing from an incredible weekend away in Berlin! *already books flights for 2018* I was there with a few of my closest friends and heard some really cool tunes whilst I was out and about. So, I included some of them in the latest edition of “Spice and Shuffle” playlist!

My artist of the month is Sweden’s national treasure – Loreen! Even though she didn’t represent Sweden in this year’s Eurovision but her latest stuff has been playing on repeat on my Spotify throughout the year. *screams europhoooriaaah* So, this time around you can hear two of her latest songs – “Ocean Away” and “71 Charger” – both of which are insanely catchy! *just saying*

The playlist is also packed with new songs from Banks, Jessie Ware, SAARA, BETSY, MØ, Beck and JONES. Therefore, your ears are in for a treat! *yay*

The Lucky Number 7!

Wait a minute… the summer is officially over?! No way, I can’t believe it! I feel like it was yesterday when I was putting away my knitwear and wintery coats. *shook* This is absolutely NOT ACCEPTABLE! *orders Pumpkin Spice Latte*

Since I’m in need of a chill pill, I packed this month’s “Spice and Shuffle” playlist with tunes inspired by Spotify’s easy playlists. Therefore, expect some easy-peasy sounds with my signature dance punch.

The playlist starts with the latest single from one of my favourite artists of this decade – Jessie Ware. She’s one of very few artists that still makes me believe in that odd thing called love, and “Alone” is a perfect example. *swoon*

Rapper Ty Dolla $ign is my artist of the month. His collaboration with Damian Marley and Skrillex – So Am I – is track number 24. I also added new songs from Lorde, Tove Lo, BOSCO and ALMA to keep you guys moving for hours. These girls are definitely not taking a break from music, are they?! *dances like his rent is due*

August Rush Spice!

Another month, another playlist! This month, I packed the 6th edition of “Spice and Shuffle” playlist with some killer dance tunes, including several remixes to songs I’ve already been dancing to all summer. The playlist starts with some remixes, then moves to trap hip-hop, then to EDM. Therefore, it’s a non-stop dancing routine!

The former Fifth Harmony singer, Camila Cabello, is my artist of the month. Her latest single – OMG (feat. Quavo) – is track number 6. *my god, you look good today* Throughout the set, you can hear new songs from Major Lazer, Selena Gomez, Galantis, Loreen, Jax Jones, Charli XCX and more. Party the night away!

*Wowzers!* It’s been almost 3 months since my last “Spice and Shuffle” playlist!!! How could I let this happen?! I was hoping to have a new playlist ready on my blog in May, but I got so busy travelling, working and just doing my own thing that I didn’t get a chance to put together an epic playlist. *soz*

According to last.fm, I listen to about 100 days of music every year – that’s almost 1/3 of my life! *jaw drops* From commercial pop to alternative rap, my taste in music is very diverse. I try to compile a list of songs that best reflect the time of the year for me. So… Summer is all about those summer hits – songs that keep you up all night and, boy, this might be THE soundtrack of summer 2017!

The alternative rap duo from Atlanta – BOSCO and Speakerfoxxx – are my artists of the month. We have 2 of their songs on this playlist – “Acting Up” and “Shooter” – definitely give them a listen! *on repeat, all summer*

Category is… Florida, The Sunshine State!

Later this month, I’m flying off to Florida to experience Miami, Key West, Fort Lauderdale and Orlando. I’m so so excited to go on this trip with my best friend Alex. This will be my 3rd time visiting the United States. We are planning to eat plenty of junk food raw fish, jog next to the beach every morning and party like our rent is due. The activity log is endless! I’m also thinking of doing some content creation here and there, so keep your eyes peeled and your nan’s laptop in sight. #MrSaltAndPepperTakesMiami

Finnish pop singer ALMA is my artists of the month. Her latest single “Chasing Highs” is song number 20, whilst the fresh-out-of-the-oven remix of “Dye My Hair” is song number 15. Throughout the set, you can hear new tracks from ZAYN, Drake, David Guetta, Nicki Minaj, Charli XCX, Tensnake and more.
