Travelling is all about the people I meet and the memories I make… in swimwear!
It’s been a week since I came back from my 2-week holiday in Florida. Jet lag is still crippling on me and my body is yet to recover from copious amounts of fried chicken and cheesy supersized burgers. *crikey* Send help, please!
In the next couple of days, I’ll be sharing my top places to eat, drink and get cultural in Miami. This holiday was truly unforgettable and I cannot wait to share the best bits with you lot. I hate to admit it, but after about 7-8 days I started to miss my cosy little bed in London and English breakfast tea! *blimey, can you imagine?!* As much as I love being in South Beach but there’s no place like home. *heats up crumpets in a toaster*
New Seas. New Yellows.
Recently, I teamed up with Jack Wills and absolutely fell in love with their latest swimwear collection. With plenty of floral prints laying on the shore, I decided to go for a classic beach look instead. I paired their yellow Branwell swim shorts with a classic fit cotton tee. Both items are making waves on most summer holiday wishlists and I had the honour to showcase them in Florida.
To complete this toned down version of Leopard-Print-Elephant fantasy, I opt for a navy backpack from Fjällräven. The bag is very practical and really stands out from other Fjällräven backpacks that are currently available. Warm yellows and navy blues are a match made in heaven, so if you happen to own these dreamy set of colours then I suggest getting them ready for a sunny day out.
Tip: Yellow is the hottest trend of SS17! Therefore, pick your favourite yellow piece and compliment it with neutral tonnes rather than colours – except denim. Don’t be afraid to take risks with yellow, you might be setting up a new trend for seasons to come.
