On the hottest day of the year…
… I wear something pink and go to Hampstead Heath!
The other day, it was surprisingly hot in London. Everyone was out and about, so I had no excuse to stay at home and be lazy. I put on my new pair of sandals and pranced all the way to Hampstead Heath. The place is perfect for a day like this – it’s close to the city and has ponds to dive in. However, the water was still freezing, so I had to save those “boomerang-perfect” dives for another time. *thumbs up*
Whilst in the park, I caught up with my friends and terrorised everyone else with my sickening Spotify playlist. Yep, I am THAT person who likes to blast his own music in the park. After a while, my UE Boom speaker ran out of battery and my mates decided to go home… *feels devastated* My best friend and I left the ponds and went to explore the local area, in mind that I get to showcase my latest outfit!
Pink blazers and palm trees.
As spring takes over London, I look forward to upgrading my wardrobe with some new seasonal favourites. It may come as no surprise but I’m super obsessed with Zara.
This season, part of their collection is inspired by #PalmSprings. The collection features a lot of pale pinks and tropical greens. For this occasion, I paired a bright pink blazer with gingham check shorts and leather strappy sandals. I added some in-the-minute accessories such as a reflective aviator sunglasses and leather bracelets.
This look is perfect for making a strong first impression. Quite frankly, I wore pretty much the same outfit for my first ever Blogosphere event… and now, everyone knows my name. *insert the nail polish emoji here*
