Snow Day in Broadgate. *brrr*
Last weekend, my best friend Renata (@iamrenny) came down to visit me and have a jolly good time in the capital. In just two days, we ate our body weight in pizza, drank copious amounts of mulled wine and froze ourselves to death, whilst trying to figure out which ice skating rink to go to! *puts on an extra layer* It was the coldest weekend of the year. But that didn’t stop us scouting about and getting all excited for Christmas.
On Saturday, we visited the Nordic-inspired forest at Broadgate. The place was giving me some serious Christmas market vibes. Therefore, I couldn’t resist taking pictures with my insta camera as well. *snap snap* There’s something about polaroid images that make experiences worth experiencing and life worth living. Don’t you agree?
From smart to casual, it’s the party season!
Words cannot explain how excited I am to party this festive season with my fellow blogger friends and work colleagues! *does an awkward office party dance number* With Christmas parties taking place almost every single night of the week, I can’t help it but stock my wardrobe with some seriously versatile pieces that work really well with my personal style.
As you probably know, I dress for the weekend every day. I’m not a fan of suits and ties but I love getting sophisticated whenever I can. By carefully selecting items that match my style, I can successfully nail that tricky “smart-casual” dress code memo I receive in my inbox. Debenhams is my go-to place for smart to casualwear pieces that are perfect to mix and match for the party season. For instance, I paired a sharp blazer with jeans and swapped formal tie for a geometric print dress scarf and an open collar shirt. The overall outfit looks smart and it doesn’t get out of my personal style. So, I’m stoked to twerk my way through the party season!
What do you guys think? Would you wear this outfit at your Christmas party?
