Yesterday, I left the office at 5pm and it was surprisingly light outside. That’s when I realised spring is just around the corner. That time of the year when daylight takes the lead and there’s more time to explore this vibrant city called London. Ahh, bliss!
One afternoon, my best friend Alex and I have decided to scout around Camden Town. From Camden Lock to Kentish Town, there’s always something to do in this trendy neighbourhood. I stumbled upon this lovely house (pictured) just off the high street. Whilst I was striking a pose like I was the 90s supermodel, the owner of the house was having her hen party… and guess what, the whole party moved towards the window to watch this amazing spectacle (a.k.a. The Mr. Salt and Pepper Show). Sadly, they didn’t have any cake and we really wanted one!
When it’s dark and gloomy – wear neon brights!
Neon shades of green, pink and yellow were seen across the board at the shows for Menswear AW 2017, but no colour was more popular than fizzing electric orange. I chose to wear this padded bomber jacket from Zara because it’s bright, puffy and – most importantly – it keeps me warm during this cold season. I complimented this jacket with several lower tone items like a drop-crotch trouser and a t-shirt featuring those popular neon shades. *out of the sudden, gets all clever*
Speaking of t-shirts, I just recently discovered Billionaire Boys Club, an American and Japanese clothing brand established by Pharrell Williams and Nigo. Most of their items (especially t-shirts) are super cool, therefore it was really hard to pick just one item to go with this look.
Category is… chill day out in Camden.
