Boys who blog together.
I find it hard to believe that it’s the end of the 2nd quarter of 2017!
My goal this quarter was to extend my blogging network and… boy… I sure did! From networking events to product launches, I had the opportunity to connect with so many talented people who share the same passion as me.
The first blogger I met and done some work with was Neil Thornton. Neil is the editor of a hugely successful men’s lifestyle blog, The Science of Appearance. At the moment, he’s planning his brand relaunch, which I’m very excited about.
From the day I met him at my local coffee shop, I knew that we were going to be doing some great stuff together. The thing I like about Neil is that he’s sassy but also very genuine. We share a long list of similarities and similar interests, but it’s our differences that really set this friendship above the rest. I’m really excited to see what we are going to come up with next! *plans our world domination, one insta post at a time*
Project Chelsea.
On this particular day, Neil and I decided to explore the fabulous streets of Chelsea.
First, we went to the #SelfExpression exhibition at Saatchi Gallery (a.k.a. World’s No. 1 Museum on Social Media). The exhibition features hundreds of selfies from all over the world, including the infamous self-portraits of Frida Kahlo. *ohhh emmm geee* You can like each of her portraits by double-tapping on the screen next to it… I mean, is there a better way to show appreciation for Frida Kahlo?! I don’t think so! *considers entering the double-tapping competition*
Later, we were scouting about to find a spot that resonates with our current looks. I chose this little corner on Whittaker Street because I’m a huge fan of black ornate iron fences and this was probably the best-lit corner on this gloomy Saturday afternoon.
The look I was going for was very ‘chilled day out in the city’. The sweatshirt and trousers are from Zara, which I picked up on my recent shopping trip to Oxford Street.
Last week, I was introduced to this super cool men’s accessory site TrendHim. From real leather bags to swanky watches, there are thousands of items available on TrendHim. In this shoot, I’m wearing a classic black watch from EYKI, which goes really well with everything I wear at the moment. I’m still waiting to receive an anchor bracelet to go with this watch. Therefore, I’m stoked to showcase this pair in my next shoot!
Check out Neil’s Instagram account (@iamneilthornton) for some sickening pictures taken by yours truly. *wink wink*
