When surfaces come to life!

Just when I thought the tech world couldn’t come up with anything new… Sony storms in and introduces Xperia Touch – a revolutionary addition to the smart home category!

The Xperia Touch uses Sony’s SXRD projection display technology, which allows users to stream videos, play games and just create whatever they want on any surface. The projector can stretch up to 23″, making it the biggest Android screen in the market. I was very impressed by how responsive it is. It is unlike anything I’ve seen before… and I’ve seen a lot!

Last week, I was invited to Sony Xperia Touch launch event at Carousel London. The event showcased Xperia Touch portable projector and its features. We were one of the first to test Xperia-Touch-optimised apps such as the Interactive DJ deck, Fruit Ninja and Math Attack. Wimbledon was also being broadcast on the wall.

I was so stoked to be a part of this experience, especially when I got to put together a DJ set featuring songs by Britney Spears! *oh baby baby*

Throughout the night, we were served some epic gin cocktails provided by Tanqueray and rolled ice-cream by Pan N Ice. *the best launch event, ever* My personal favourite was Strawberry Nutella rollie.

The event was also an opportunity for me to meet new bloggers and content creators who work with similar brands as I do. So, I sense some amazing collaborations coming up in the near future.
