Let Them Eat Cake!

If there’s a support group for people who consume way too many sweets, I’d like to be a part of it! *joins the cake eaters anonymous* As someone who likes cakes and all other desserts under the sun, I can help it but indulge in every icing and cream that comes with it. *oops* From cupcakes to doughnuts, there are plenty of choices out there but where’s good to go in our fabulous London town? Where can we get good quality cakes that would please everyone’s sugar palet? Well, let me tell you about this one place.

Several weeks ago, Ed and I visited Flavourtown Bakery to try their best-in-town cupcakes. Situated near the Parson’s Green tube station, Flavourtown Bakery is an award-winning cake shop. They produce cupcakes, cakes and brownies using only the finest ingredients out there. Therefore, these treats always taste fresh and delicious. *heaven for your taste buds*

I couldn’t resist my temptation to try some of their latest cupcakes. So, I’ve picked the Pumpkin sPie one because I’m a PSL freak and the Cookie Doughnut one because… who wouldn’t? *feels slightly greedy* Both cupcake toppings were full of flavour, whilst the base just melted in my mouth. I’ve tasted a lot of cupcakes in my life and I can confirm that these were really exceptional. It’s fascinating how quality ingredients and attention to detail can make such a difference in the overall tasting experience. *orders a few more to takeaway*

Flavourtown Bakery is an ideal place for those who like good quality cakes or just want to have a little something to go with their coffee. So, if you’re around Fulham – make sure to pop in for a cake or two. Ed and I will surely be back very soon. Halloween-inspired confections?
